So you like it here & you'd love to live here? well it may not be just a dream, look around you there are lots of Europeans (English Germans etc) living here, and they are just normal working people same as me & YOU!

This is My tip for you to make your dream come true, a lot of people will sell their house, arrive in pattaya with 50 grand buy a house here for say 30/40 grand then piss the rest up a wall and then go home after 1/2 years skint, thats Fact!

In my opinion, re-mortgage your house, so say you have a house worth 100 grand and you owe 50 grand to the mortgage company, you get a bigger loan from that company for say 5o grand and then let it out for rent to cover the mortgage repayments.

Then you have 50 grand to play with, and you still have your house that will double every 7 years approx, so now its 2007 in 2014 that house should be by rule of thumb worth 200 grand, now you still owe 100 grand, but that house has earned you 100 grand in 7 years thats 20 grand a year and your not even there!

so good, you didn't sell the house and have nothing left, all you must do now is take care of the 50 grand burning a hole in your pocket!

Many people buy a house here in pattaya usually over the sukemvit road area where you can get a nice house and pool for 20/40 grand, perfect for taking pictures of with you and your lady/boy friend!!!!!! thats about all!
Then most seem to stay in a hotel in pattaya city centre cos they don't want to taxi home on a evening or maybe don't feel secure!

Madness!, you can rent a nice apartment for say 7000 bhat a month thats roughly 100 quid a month thats roughly 1,200 quid a year now your living in the city for 30 years if you have it in you and someone else is paying for the repairs on the roof and gardens etc!

now don't forget after 7 years your house has ernt you another 100 grand!

This is only MY opinion you would do best to talk to a financial adviser at say an estate agents in your home country!
