We are just a small bar, on the corner of soi 6, (street 6), which runs off the main beach road, in Pattaya.

Pattaya is a thrieving holiday resort in Thailand, which is in the centre of Asia.

soi 6 corner bar is only small compared with many others on the soi and surrounding area, its called corner bar because we are a bar on the corner, of soi 6 and 2nd road.

we open at 8am and we close 1am (Thai law), and our customers are mainly holiday makers, so they might call in every day for maybe a week or 2 then they go home and maybe a year or so see them again, we have some who live out here and call in every 2 / 3 days etc.



English lads, being English!

The girls that work in the bar are very good with languages as most customers are European, so Thai is spoken by the girls between themselves and English to most customers, followed by some German, (one girl Vee speaks fluent German) followed by, maybe some french, and very little else.

Poor jan never stops cleaning!

The bar is open walled so you get a good view of the street passing people traffic etc, and inside we have big TV's around so there's always something to look at!

Sports and news are on most of the time. but the girls will try and find anything for a customer.

The blue t-shirts are worn for the Queen of Thailand!

music is generally old favourites, carpenters, ub40, bee gees, Barry white, Phil Collin's etc in the morning, early afternoon more 80s/90s then early evening a mix of dance and definitely hip hop cos the girls love hip hop, its an age thing!

Internet is free for customers to use, as in many bars here now, the time limit for this is 10 Min's but its not enforced unless someone has been on a long time, with someone else waiting.

Eating here is not a problem at all as we have some really nice places that deliver food to us in average 30 Min's.

Tropical Bert's delivers most of the English style food, then followed by fast food such as, KFC, Mc Donald's, Pizza hut etc, and the best Indian curry in made Pattaya!



The staff never get time to stop!

Our Soi (6) is full of bars, approx 50 or so, is very lively from 1pm till 1am and tourists walking up and down all day and night.

every building is either a bar or a shop of one sort, hairdressers, local ciggy type shop, and odd travel agent and just one (i think) Tattooists, who all have, very old retro style motorbikes and scooters!

Bars too many to list, and a high turnover of people buying and selling them, and changing their names all the time would take ages, so ill leave it for now.

but when not needed its away cos it tends to hold a
lot of heat in

They drive round most bars collecting recycliable
products, plastic glass bottles and coke tins etc



All hand ball as my dad would say!


Water and ice is deliverd about 5 times a day


many bars dont have ice making machines so every
couple of hours these just turn up and restock the bar!
